HP officially announced the name of their newest tablet after so many names coming before it. HP TouchPad is a 10 inch tablet with WebOS as its operating system and it means that another new OS has coming in tablet world (Android, iOS, Windows 7 and WebOS).

Archos 48 Android Internet Tablet

Archos has released a new Android tablet called Archos 48 Internet Tablet features 4.8-inch touchscreen TFT LCD display with resolution of 480 x 800 pixels, 800 MHz processor, FM radio, FM transmitter, and 256MB RAM.

You can customize your device by downloading your favorite Android applications, play HD videos and view photos, support for a wide range of audio and video codecs including 720p MPEG-4, H.264, and MKV video files.


This touchscreen device of Archos 48 also support for various types of connectivity options such as WiFi 802.11b/g/n and Bluetooth 2.0 but lack of GPS. The price is $299 which is cheaper than Archos 5 tablet with price $449.
