HP Envy 17 3D Radeon HD 5850 Laptop

Hewlett-Packard (HP) revealed a new edition of laptop called Envy 17 3D with the first ATI-based 3D laptop. It will give the option to buy the stereoscopic screen and the eyewear that works with it.

The HP Envy 17 3D notebook featuring with 17.3-inch 3D (120 Hz) LED-backlit display with resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixel, Intel Core i5 or Core i7 processor, up to 8GB of DDR3 RAM, up to 2TB hard drive, and Mobility Radeon HD 5850 graphic card (1GB dedicated memory).

HP and ATI have a list of 200 games that will work with the 3D bundle. The glasses have a wireless range of 3 feet and if you have external 3D display, HDMI and DisplayPort which already include on Envy 17 3D is not yet can stream 3D content.

Another equipment like Blu-ray combo drive, a HD webcam, 802.11n Wi-Fi, a 5-in-1 card reader, and a 6-cell Lithium Ion battery. HP says the Envy 17 3D will be available this holiday season and there are reports the price will come in below $2,000.
